I have been on assignment three days this week and I have passed through several counties in Ohio and even made my way into Pennsylvania.

I know it has been talked about it on here and yet we can’t stop talking about it: delayed planting this spring.

So instead of writing about it, I just thought I would share some pictures that seem to say it all.The shots are from Carroll, Columbiana, Muskingum and Coshocton counties.

While I had high hopes that the weather people would be wrong and that it would suddenly dry up and planting could begin, that hope is fading more and more as the weather forecast has changed yet again and it looks like another week of rain.

I’m going to stay positive though and assume it will change.

Until then… All we can do is take a deep breath and hope for the best.

These pictures say it all as to how wet the fields are at this point.
